Don’t Give Up On Me

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”– Psalm 138:8, NKJV

Have you ever felt like– this is it. It’s over. Nothing has changed. I can’t seem to do the right thing. I am never going to get to the other side.

I am a failure.

Loser.

Has-been.

Medicority at its finest.

Never going to amount to anything.

The only chance I had…

The deadline for my dreams..

Has since passed.

This trial..Ha!

Excuse metrials have gone on far too long.

God, have you forgotten me?

And even if I sense  your Spirit with me God, why are things so hard? Why is it taking so long for me to see things working together for my good? For the grand reveal to take place? To finally obtain what God has promised me??

God! Why? Why is it so long.. these hardships? I even feel stifled, delayed, in prison over the mistakes, sin, failure of others. God, I am suffering for things that are not even my fault.

Please Father God….When will it be over?

Help. God, just change it and help.

God, I am frustrated.

God, weak, tired. Exasperated at confronting, and confined to the same ol’ issues.

Tittering on deep disappointment and sadness.

Father God, what’s happening up there?

Where is my reward for my faithfulness toward you?

Or maybe your here:

Honestly God, I know your reward is here. It’s coming to pass, but am I enough? Strong enough, equipped enough, capable enough to do what you said I can do, or become all you created me to be?

Those things you called me to–those promises and purposes you laid out for me in your Word and by the strong confirmations of The Holy Spirit every waking moment of my life…Am I even ready for it?

God, I sense you calling me higher, into bigger things, wider terrain I could habe never imagined. But have I been faithful in your growing, refining, character building process to complete me and make me uniquely set to accomplish Your Greatness?

God, I’ve failed so many times.

At times, I ask myself:

Does He still want me anymore?

How could He use me–I keep disobeying Him, willingly- out of shame and inner frustration with my unwillingness to become God’s best with every test and trial. Self sabatoge at its finest.

Could I ever become what you have kept tucked in my heart?

Will I ever become that woman?

Looking at my failures….There is no hope. I could just…give up, here and now and forget He had called me up to the top of the mountain.

Despite all these things, God loves you and I. He has a plan for us and will make what he started in us to be completed. Regardless of how we see ourselves or what we think we are God will see to it His Perfect Will is finished in our lives.

God never stops believing in us. God always is hopeful we will come to Him and change. God keeps on loving us despite how much we reject, dishonor, or disobey Him. God’s Love and God Himself never fails– including His children. If you have given yourself to Christ, and are born again, you now have access to The Father’s inheritance. This inheritance comes out of God’s abundant love for you and promises you, that He will never leave you or forsake you. He will not leave you alone. He will see to it everything He has created you to be will be accomplished till the day Jesus returns for us.

Thank God, despite my flaws, and my low self esteem, He makes things new and gives me rest on every side. Jesus comforts us,  gives us peace, and grace to accomplish these great things and overcome the trials that come with life in great victory. He makes it well with my soul.

“Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!”

I just think about it this way. God is all powerful. He knows you would mess up. He knows your mistakes, sins and failures even before you knew about them. He knows everything and gives us the hope and assurance when we do fail that He is still working His everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).

God has not given up on you.  God has not given you up for adoption. He has you inscribed in His palm and is excited for you to become all He made you to be.

God does not want to see you fail, so God will do everything in His Power to make sure you exceed your expectations of yourself and even of Him, and increase your faith in God Almighty.

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”– Psalm 138:8, NKJV

You have become new now. Don’t be so afraid. Don not be so discouraged. God’s got you covered. God is with you. God is for you. Who could ever be against you?

The key is: You must rely on His strength. Power to overcome your problems. Strength to endure. Strength to overcome.

God has not given you a Spirit a fear, but power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Have no fear, dear.

Keep looking unto Jesus. The Author and Finisher of our Faith. He will finish what He started in you. God will give you the grace and strength to overcome and give you peace on every side. When you rely on Him, He will give you peace and quietness within you to keep you steadfast and grounded and complete God’s perfect will in you.

God’s best in you will come to pass. But God is not going to get you there in your own strength. God will give you the grace to endure and come through, even in this season of life.

God will not fail you. God will not forget about you. God loves you. God has your best

So don’t let go of your faith which has great reward. Don’t give up on God. For He has not given up on you.

Let God’s strength take over. Let God’s peace fill you up. Settle into God’s plan, trust Him, He knows what He is doing.

God’s strength is sufficient for you.

Keep the faith. And keep going. God has great things planned for you.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” –Jeremiah 29:11

He loves us.

Amen.

God has a great things for you planned! Just don’t give up.

Bless you,

Amarachi
