We all have moments of despair over our flaws.
But are we not glad though that God will never leave us nor forsake us, abandon us or throw us away?
No matter how we try to self sabotage or try to do everything we can to give Him a reason to not love us, give Him a reason to give us up and give up on us….
God will not leave us alone. God will keep on going after us, and loving us.
For God is LOVE.
And His Love is everlasting, ever flowing, ever forgiving, and always faithful.
Love believes all things. Love never gives up. Love bears all things. Love endures all things. Love hopes in all things.
God’s Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:7-8).
Even when you don’t think your worth it.
God says you are.
“Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” –Revelation 1:5-6
You are so special, so dear to Him and He keeps you forever inscribed in the palm of His Hand. You mean the world to Him. You mean everything to Him. He proved it with the price He paid to buy you back. The death, and blood shed of Jesus Christ–His One and Only Son.
To Him you are perfect, despite all the failures, all the hurts, all the pain, you are deeply precious to Him.
God still cares about you. God still loves you wholly and completely.
Forever. Don’t forget that God uses our weaknesses and makes them our strengths when we truly put all our trust in Him.
You have nothing to be ashamed of. God made you special. And God made you in His image. You are unique and beautiful. Nothing can separate you from His Love. And nothing can change that.
Receive His Love. He wants you to take it so you will be filled with His illuminating, unconditional, effervescent love to give to others to comfort and encourage them too.
I want to give you this post that I read on Sunday. I was quite full of anger, frustration, sadness and grief over my sin…my failures…my inconsistencies with God’s instructions for my life.
He loves us with an everlasting love.
But I learned, we all have flaws. And we have to see our flaws from another perspective, the way God sees them. The way He sees us. This little, but powerful story gives me so much comfort and hope when I needed it most. I know it will for you too:
He is not a man that He should lie. He makes no mistakes. He has our lives in His Hands. He has our best interests at heart.
He loves us all. Flaws and all.
Embrace your flaws broken water pot, and allow God to make you strong. Allow God to use your imperfections as blessings.
For God embraces all of you.
I love you.
May God bless you.
