Allow Yourself to Be Comforted

“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” –2 Corinthians 1:4

I have been looking all over for this picture. And God brought it back to me:

As human beings we tend to forget that God does appreciate our hard work and our service. We forget that what we are doing is expanding His Kingdom. Whether it be hours of prayer, a financial gift to your  church or people, smile or hug to a family or stranger in need of encouragement. All the things we do, big or small IS important. Not one thing is wasted. All of our gifts are different, as we are, varying in shape size, and creativity. It reveals The Complexity and Creativity of Our Father. And we are to use what we have to the best of our ability, no matter what it it is.

We are important to God. I am important. You are important. We are important together. Together, we are creating, we are, Jesus Christ Body. We are His children.  We are sheep. We are His flock. As His Chosen People, God understands, I am sure, how easy it is to get discouraged for us. But God is merciful. He offers comfort and support during times of fear,Zalika low self esteem, and doubt.

He will help us. He will comfort us.

I almost don’t want to accept Your comfort. Do I really need it? After all, I am the one who allows certain things to happen. I am the one who keeps ‘slacking behind’. God, here I go: the ‘I deserve mentality” None of this rationale is of Your doing. Even this is my own doing.

Yet again,

You are Faithful.

You are Trustworthy

You are both of these words, actually 🙂

You are Good.

Thank you Father God.

Be encouraged loved ones. Work hard and continue to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. God still loves you and will help you.

Just keep working hard on the tasks that He has given you to do.

Continue to be honest in your work, no matter how painful it may be.

Occupy steadfastly, gratefully, joyfully, happily and God will reward you. He will establish the work of your hands.

Just keep walking patiently with God

He will help you and see you through.

God, I thank you for giving us peace and strength as we do the work you have given us to do. Father God, I ask you that we continue to have a steadfast, and resilient spirit when it comes to the glorious things you gave to us. Father God bless me and all those who read this with the humility to accept your grace and comfort. Thank you God for everything.

In you Name I pray,

I am comforted by The Lord

He has not forgotten my tears

Nor has he left me alone.

God bless you, and be comforted.
