Come Home.

Come--at4everythingblog

I want to tell you a story. It goes like this:

“A man had two sons. The younger son told his father,

‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.

“A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.

He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs. The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him.

But no one gave him anything.

“When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’

So he returned home to his father.

And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.”

But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

Meanwhile, the older son was in the fields working. When he returned home, he heard music and dancing in the house, and he asked one of the servants what was going on. ‘Your brother is back,’ he was told, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf. We are celebrating because of his safe return.’

The older brother was angry and wouldn’t go in.

His father came out and begged him, but he replied, ‘All these years I’ve slaved for you and never once refused to do a single thing you told me to. And in all that time you never gave me even one young goat for a feast with my friends. Yet when this son of yours comes back after squandering your money on prostitutes, you celebrate by killing the fattened calf’

“His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!’”

–Luke 15:11-32, NLT

Regardless of who you are,

Where you have been,

What you have done

Or who you have done it with,

God loves you

And asks you:

“To Come Home, daughter

Come Home son,

Come Home to Me

I will come and clean you up.

I will fill you up.

I come to make you whole

Cut the ties

Break every chain,

Rescue you from darkness

And keep you safe.

Return home to me

You are dirty,

But I will make you clean.

I will wash away your sins.

So.

Come Home to Me, my son,

Come Home to Me my daughter

Come Home to Me

Back to Me

Back to Me.

I will take away your sins.

I will make you whole again.

I will make you holy.

I will restore you.

I will revive you.

I will make you new again.

Come Home to Me children,

For I make all things new.”

God said this word and God’s word is true.

God has you on His Mind and more and store for you.

God loves you.

Forget about the things that kept you from coming home in the past.

Just like the son in the story Jesus speaks about. God is better than this pigsty your living in.

God even promises to clean you up.

Won’t you let Him?

God, the Father of all

Asks you,

Calls you home.

Back to His Heart.

He can’t force you.

He will give you the respect to make the right decision.

You have not been alone.

God has caused you to come down to this moment.

He has had you on His Mind.

So,

“Just come Home to Me, God says

Your Lord

Your God

And Your Father.”

Pray this prayer with me so that you can come home:

God, I ask you to forgive me for all my sins. I ask you to receive me as your son or daughter. I ask you to help me live the life you have called for me to live. I ask you to help me embrace all of who You created me to be.

Jesus, come into my heart and change me now. I believe you are the very first son of God and you came to die for my sins. Thank you for that. I can now become God’s son/daughter because You loved me enough to come down and give Your LIFE. Thank you Jesus Christ for rising again so I can live with God forever. God, thank you for loving me, thank you for saving me, and for giving up Your only son to die on the cross for my sins.

Fill me up with your love Father, so I can have a heart for you and live for you and You alone. Thank you God for hearing my prayer and answering my prayer. Thank you God, that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away, look, all things have become new! Your perfect will is being done in my life.

Thank you God!

In Jesus Name I pray, amen.

WELCOME HOME!

I am excited to see what God has in store for you!

I come against everything that would cause you to become anything short of who God called you to be.

I speak blessings over you. Keep walking. Keep walking with God. Keep Jesus in the center of your life.

He is with you.

God bless you.

God loves you.

And I love you too,

Amarachi
