What is the hope?

The Hope of humanity is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

All of humanity looks for a solution, a person, to wash them clean of their sins.

But because of the suffering, crucifixion and death of His Son,

We would be forever atoned for our sins.

To be remembered no more.

The glorious Resurrection of Jesus not only sealed the blessed plan of redemption but gave us the sure promise of everlasting life with The Lord.

And one day we shall come together as His own and be taken up to be with Him.

Forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:52).

That is THE HOPE. The Hope that we long wait for. It is the final redemption of our bodies to The Lord and the anchor our souls hold to as we wait to be caught up in the air to be with Him.

Now, this hope I not only for some future day.

The Hope is for every breathing moment for the life you live on this earth.

The anchor of hope when everything seems to be a lost cause.

When life seems pointless,

And you have no supposed reason to live,

When you think The Lord has forgotten you,

And you are not worthy of His Love.

When you think these constant battle with disease,

A constant battle with life’s failures. Disappointment after disappointment.

Stealing your heart, your courage, your tenacity of life,

Stealing your joy.

When time starts to close in on you and there is nothing left to do.

When all seems lost and you think there is no hope for you.

There is hope. It is The Hope that restores all humanity and keeps the world. It is Jesus. He is The Solution. He is The Answer.

Know this. He loves you. He really does. And He gave up His Only Son to prove this truth. It was written before you were ever even born.

God loves you. He has a special place for you in His Heart and He has The Hope for you. All you have to do is accept His Promise of salvation through Jesus. Accepting Jesus is the step you take so you can become a Prisoner of Hope.

Why should The Lord give us double for our trouble and deliver us from our fears? And how can I be sure?

It explains right in the verse before it.

“As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.” (Zechariah 9:11).

God promises to deliver us, not because of our good deeds, or because we deserve it but because God in His Mercy and Love for us wanted to save us from our sins and keep us from a life without The Hope of the world, Jesus (John 3:16-17).

Humanity will stay in it’s depraved and failing ways without a sacrifice to make us in right standing with The Lord. There is no remission, or forgiveness of sins without a shedding of blood. (Hebrews 9:22)

There is no forgiveness of sins without a blood sacrifice, a shedding of blood.

And that sacrifice who shed His blood for humanity was Jesus.  He is The One and Only Who gave up His life so you and I can live free-guiltless without any sin before God the Father. And God promises, once you make a decision to believe Jesus, He makes you into a new creation and connects you into His Family.

The covenant, sealed with the Blood of His Son, who is alive now, is your secure Hope in the days to come. You can trust His sacrifice. It continues to cleanses you, carry you and keep you safe. The Blood constantly reminds the world that He is alive. Because He lives, and your hope is in Him, Who will remain forever, you will too.

This Hope promises to never leave you alone.

He even promises to save you from every dry, purposeless situation. He promises to give you double blessings, honor, and abundant Life (John 10:10) for all the hardships you have faced.

Jesus says in Matthew 5:10:

“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Hope had to die in order for us to live.

That is what makes you a Prisoner of Hope.

It can’t be taken and you can’t earn it by yourself

However, you must believe in the One who died and rose again with power to set you free.

Return to your strong foundation, receive The Hope of all humanity. Accept Jesus into your life and become a Prisoner of Hope so that he can make you an Ambassador of Hope the whole world can see, come to know Him and believe.

Jesus, help me to remain a Prisoner of Hope that I may inherit all things with you. I am sorry Father, I repent of all my sins and come into agreement with your will for my life. Thank you Father for hearing my prayer. Thank you because of the covenant you have with me because of Jesus I can stand blameless and clean before your Presence and your promise of giving me double for my trouble and delivering me out of the prison of despair still stands today. Father, thank you being with me. Thank you for helping me stand strong as Prisoner of Hope in this world. God, I do love you. Thank you for loving me.

In the name of Jesus, The Hope of All.

Amen.

Read Hebrews 9 and get more insight into what it all means for you to have a covenant with God and the strength of that covenant and relationship with God.

I love you all.

I leave you with this:
