No Place I’d Rather Be

“There’s no place I’d rather be,
IMG_20180115_150557No place I’d rather be,
No place I’d rather be
Then here in Your Love
Here in Your Love…”

I love these moments.

I can pray. I can cry, sing and dance. I feel safe. I can be free. For He is listening to me. He is mine. And I am His. The Lord is my Shepherd.
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leadeth me down the paths of righteousness for His name sake… (Psalm 23)

In this season, my quiet place changes. Today, it sits under a window in my parents home. Tomorrow it could be the carpeted floor of my apartment bedroom. However,  it is still my quiet place with The Lord. My sanctuary. My place with Him. Even if it may change, I prepare a time, a place where I can hear Him and pray to Him. A quiet time where it’s just Him and I.
No matter how it looks…there must always be a place you go to every day to hear His voice, listen to His Word, read His Word, and write down what He speaks.
A place where you pour out your soul to Him. A place where you can shout. A place where you can speak freely.

A special place.

A quiet place.

Secret place.

Where it’s just you and God.

A place where you can be filled again with hope, life and love, a place where you can be intimate, closely waiting with God,

And listen to His heartbeat.

A place where you can be still, at peace. At rest. Knowing it is alright.

Because this world will carry us away with its vanity, distractions and hopelessness if we do not.
“There’s no place I’d rather be,
No place I’d rather be,
No place I’d rather be
Then here in Your Love
Here in Your Love…” –“Set A Fire”, by Will Reagen and United Pursuit

Let this be our prayer as we step into this new week,

Together

With Him.

In every season,

Amarachi
