My Shepherd

“The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,

Hand-in-Hand1

“Hand in Hand” by Greg Olsen

bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.” ~ Psalm 23

I was in need of a Shepherd. One Who Cared about me. Dark skinned.

And all.

I needed a Shepherd.

He would lead me out.

I am loved by Him.

Divinely cherished.

This painting reminds me how we are to just take His hand like little children, and walk with Him (Matthew 18:24).

It also reminds me of how much Jesus loves you and I- no matter how we look like.

He desires closeness.

“Just deeper walk with my Savior…”

He would like for us to be one with Him.

You want to see glory?

You want to see miracles, signs, wonders?

That can only come when we make a decision to trust Him like a little child.

And not run.

Or leap.

But walk with Him.

He knows the path we’re journeying in far too well.

He knows it all.
The Shepherd calls. Rest in Him.
You are that little lamb. He cares for you. Rest in His arms today.
God wants you and I to cast all our cares on Him for He cares and loves us (1 Peter 5:7). Let God take your burdens. You were never meant to carry it all. You were NEVER meant to walk alone. Give Him your hand. Give Him your burdens. Let Him take your burdens. Let Him be your Shepherd.

I pray the peace of God for your lives. God, speak your truth to them more than ever before. I pray their hearts are tender, ready to believe and receive this truth that you give them. Jesus bless these men and women. Let God Your Spirit fall and bless them mightily. Give them joy they’ve never had before. I pray they experience Your Glory more and greater than ever.
In Your Name,
Amen.

Thank you Lord.

I’m praying for you all.

God bless you.

Walking with Him,

Amarachi

As you pray, and think of this scripture, pray for others today. So that they too will walk through it with Jesus.
