Bloom Series: A Time of Pruning

As I walk through a time of rebuilding with The Lord, He has revealed to me some wisdom from His Word from my past, and now present, about what it means to be corrected, redirected, and yes, pruned.

We can not bloom, without being pruned.

It’s hard when you endure some things that are beyond your control or your plan. Just know that God has a higher plan and your pain will not be in vain.

The tests of faith you have endured, your sacrifice, your labour of love, your service, your faithfulness to God even in confusing, hard times will not be in vain.
Your pain will not be in vain.
Your suffering is not in vain.
Pruning is a testament of God’s Faithfulness
To You and His Promises toward you.

God corrects those He loves. Hebrews 12:6

God desires to make us more and more like Jesus (Romans 8:28). And that’s why we must be pruned.
Pruning
Precedes
Blooming.
And it is time to bloom.
And yet
He is clipping, stripping, developing in us: strength, faith,
words of wisdom
and understanding from His Word so that we can grow
And become all He has
Called us to be.

You may say:
“I can’t.
It’s so hard. ”
Yeah, I know.

Change–especially changing for the better is hard.
However,
I’m glad
He has not left us alone.

“26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified…”

           Romans 8:26-30, NKJV

Through God’s correction, discipline, commands, and redirection for you–have hope. For The Holy Spirit will help us.

Thank you God
Don’t be afraid of being clipped, and developed. God is just humbling you so that you can bask in the wonderful blessings He has set aside for you.

And so His Glory can be revealed in US.
Endure the testing–and hold on to God through it. Keep walking by faith.
It is an indication that God loves you–if you are being pruned now.
Walking the narrow road with Jesus leads to right living–only a few enter in (Matthew 7:14).
Whatever pruning process God has you walking through–
Know that He is with you.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
In the pruning, God will continue to produce the fruit of the spirit in you: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control
(Galatians 5:22-23).
Just keep allowing Him to prune you.
I am here–and I pray other friends from God are sent in your path to help you keep the faith in the growing season. And in your bloom.

Until next time,
God bless you,
Amarachi
