We All Have A Victory Story

There are many things that we have overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony.

Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

What is one thing–one problem–circumstance or situation that God has delivered you from?

Or a problem you had to walk through that you overcame by your faith in The Lord?

The days are long gone that I keep silent for what God has done in my life.

I’m thankful for His Love and the overwhelming victory God has given me through His Son, my Savior, and Lord. Don’t allow fear to keep you silent anymore. Share the good news of Christ–starting with your testimonies. Thank God you have one and ask HIM for courage to share it, in His Name.

Thank you, Father, for Your Overwhelming Love that has pulled us through and lifted us above our fears and storms! We thank you, Father, for all you have done.

For making us overcomers through the shed blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony.

We love you Lord,

In Jesus Name

We pray,

Amen.

Remember, to everything, there is a season,

To every purpose under the heaven

We will shine for His Glory as we speak the truth of His Overcoming Love to all far and near.

Shining,

Amarachi

Victory Week: More than You

When I was 17 years old, I had to have a lumpectomy. Though the growths were benign, there was a possibility that it could turn.
I was afraid. And I was wondering if this could be something that I had caused. From sins I have done.
All lies from satan.
But those thoughts were in my mind.
My mother, a seasoned nurse, cried. Many times…even as she prayed.
My father, usually even-tempered and calm was oh so quiet and worry deepened the lines of his face.
After several weeks,
Ignoring the lumps,
And the doctor’s diagnoses,
I mustered all the courage in me and came boldly to Him in prayer and told Him, tears trickling down my cheeks:
“Lord, I’m kind of scared. I don’t want to die. I ask you to heal me.
If you don’t and I have to get a surgery…I trust you anyway.
But I believe that you will protect me and the surgery will go right. I trust you Lord. in Your Son’s Name, Jesus, I pray, amen.”
I knew the thees, the thous,

However, this time…I was still and prayed the truth of how I was feeling before the Lord.
That day, as the nurses prepared me for surgery…
A peace that surpassed all human understanding blanketed the room.
I knew there was an angel-if not angels-protecting me
And I was not afraid anymore.
I was surrounded.
The Presence of God was there.
A nurse, coming into the room asked if this was my first surgery. I said yes.
Alarmed she said: “Wow, you’re so calm. And you are just 17 years old.” My mom spoke up and said:
“Yes, it’s The Presence of God.”
The surgery was a success,
And I healed beautifully.
At the tender age of 17
Clear hearted in mind and spirit made a decision
To not fear death,
But trust
The Lord would protect me and lead me home always. Amen.
I had the victory.
If not for my own sake, I believe my facing this test, deepened my trust in the Lord, as well as revealed what God’s Faithfulness and Peace looks like in those who believe. I pray the nurse who talked with me is changed, and comes to Christ for herself, and sees who He is.
It’s not about us.
It’s about the souls who will be reunited
In His Presence
Again.
And that is the ultimate victory.

This is victory week! Where I share the stories and triumphs I have had the Lord has brought me through.

VICTORY WEEK: Free to Be Me

I used to be a people pleaser. Deep down worried about people’s opinions of me. Worried about what they would think. Because of my personality, and at the time my ability to understand God’s heart of compassion in me, I loving and at times, stupidly, allowed people to take advantage of my character. It left unwanted and unnecessary scars that made me afraid to love again or reach out to people.
And that caused me to limit myself–and God–in many ways. I was low key for this portion of my life.
I hid it well. By excelling and overachieving, smiling, I silenced, I believed at that time, any possible criticisms people may try to have against me. And by being kind, yet distant, I felt that I could control a person’s ability to hurt me.
That’s still being controlled by others too…
But now–The Lord has freed me of that bondage.

Proverbs 29:25
“The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted.”

Now, I freely give because I have been freely been given His Love.
I carry grace and trust the Lord that no matter what happens–I’m accepted by Him,
And that’s all that matters.
I am deeply cared for and loved by Him. And whoever treats me otherwise
It’s their loss.
Because now
No one can make me not share His Love–or my testimony. Because He has set me free. He has set me free from doubt,
Disease,
Shame,
Low self-esteem,
And pride.
That’s pride to hide what God has given you
of faith, love, and encouragement. Now, I am free. To be me. All He made me to be.

Thank you Father, Glory to Your Name. Amen.

Today is the day of victory–for Jesus causes us to TRIUMPH!

Remember, to everything, there is a season,

A time and purpose under heaven.

I pray we grow through this season of life, friends.

VICTORY WEEK

Yesterday, I was reminded again by The Lord of how much He has brought me through and the victories I have obtained through my faith in Him.

Every day this week (through my personal page via Instagram, and A Time 4 Everything’s Instagram and Twitter) I will be sharing some transparent areas God has given me VICTORY over. This week will be #VICTORYWEEK. And I pray you will join me by sharing some of the battles you have conquered over by the power of The Holy Spirit.

For the very of the first victory stories:
This time last year, my family and I were homeless.
And we had been for almost a year.
We had been evicted from our home (the second time) and due to my parent’s credit we were denied the opportunity to rent. Neither did we have the finances to try to convince landlords to let us move in.
We hopped from one hotel to another-
Seeking rest
And God provided for us in every place.
The Lord granted us wisdom and provision and favor with every manager. Even though we were scared at times we would be thrown out again, He always provided a way for us to pay the hotel bill.
If it had not been for The Lord sending people,
Giving us peace and strength in the midst of that season…
I’m not sure where in my life I would be.
All I know is,
Through much prayer,
Sowing seed, being a blessing to my parents and others around me possibly going through harder situations; God blessed me and my family immensely.
Here I was thinking that all my seed was in vain. It was not.
He used those times of hardship.
Of grief. Of doubt. Of mourning over what was lost
To build my faith, deepen my character,
Trust and reliance on The Father.
Now we have
A house, in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Where  I grew up.
He is restoring some things
In more ways than one.
And yes, I am still seeking Him,
And worshipping Him
Believing for everything I need to come to pass…
However,
He is still behind the scenes
Working
On me
And our hearts to receive all that He has in store for me.
God is faithful.
And causes us to triumph,
Have victory,
Over every single thing that threatens to take us out.
Where poverty, depression, shame, bitterness, and grief threatened to take us out. God is still on the throne and has destined me for more…the only eviction taking place now is satan and his demons!
God has caused us by His Spirit to overcome those emotions and the circumstances that we have faced. God is good.
His mercy endures forever. He is faithful #VICTORYWEEK

For His Glory

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”–Philipians 1:6

I had two outbursts.
I was challenged to act like I have in the past and I chose the latter.
I was so disappointed.
And yet, I know that The Lord was encouraging me to not linger on the sin.
But rather trust Him.

“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” Romans 8:18, NLT

Even if I feel like I can’t do this anymore. I’ll trust You. Even if I’m tempted to sulk and bury myself in grief. Mourning sin or what should have happened won’t change anything. Rather it will exacerbate everything.
So maybe the Lord is also testing my response to my sin. If I’ll run closer to Him? Or will I run further away from Him and people? Will I turn my back on life and try to excuse it by my own.

“You won’t respond in the flesh,
If you let me fill you all the way to overflowing.”–The Holy Spirit

Yet I know. Though it’s hard to accept. That this place I’m in is far more important than I realize. This place which I feel is so close to being over can not flow fulfilled till I am fulfilled in You. I’m so ready for situations to change. But yet, I’m still finishing it. Still learning how to be content in it. Still holding on preciously to the knowledge of my Savior even if my life looks incomplete. I sit here. I wait here. Gritting my teeth. Hoping that God delivers me. And hold my breath with praise wrapped up within me.
So that I can sing boldly,
Unashamedly that I was brave enough to smile.
Laugh and even when I did not want to,

For His Glory.
And all witnessing this decree. Type amen!

I pray your people experience power from Your Spirit more than ever before. Equipping them to walk out faithfully what you have given them. Let them prosper in all they do.

And let your perfect will be done.

In Jesus Name, I pray with you all.

Amen!

Remember this:

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6

My BIG MOMENT

“There are no BIG Moments in life, just small defining ones…” a friend of mine stated as we contemplated the year.

I was taken a back at first. If anything, wouldn’t I look forward to a year full of clandestine instances, and moments that are BIG?

Whatever your dream is, most of us have a scene in our mind we go to that shows us radiantly basking in the glory of “THE BIG MOMENT” taking place.

A time where everything falls into place. A time where your hard work is recognized. A place where all your sacrifice, pain, and suffering will be rewarded. A time when everything comes to a head and makes sense.

A time that nothing can compare to.

A moment in time that will change the trajectory of your life–forever.

It depends on what you define as a “BIG MOMENT”.

What we define as BIG MOMENT is usually tied with the recognition, applause, and lifting of ourselves from others.

Whether it be being noticed by a movie producers, and becoming an instant box office sensation.

Having your articles picked up, and published by the top people in the industry.

Finally receiving that one loan for your business that would take you to a mom and pop shop to a competitive billionaire.

Being chosen out of a crowd and finally...finally being recognized for your all hard work, talents, and gifts.

A desire for that BIG MOMENT may be for many reasons. Most of these moments are self centered and speak from the fallen, hurt place of our human heart. I have come to realize from my own life that it is from a place of wounded-ness or ignorance.

Wounded-ness–The need to be acknowledged due to seasons of rejection, failure, and loneliness.

Ignorance- Simply not realizing who you are, and Who God made you to be.

When we succumb to either we come to a place of unholy longing and dissatisfaction with the season and life God has designed uniquely for us.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.”–Psalm 51:12, NLT

It seems like we are always desperately trying to earn validation from others of how great we really are.

Our eyes have been concealed to believe the wrong thing.

Your BIG MOMENT is not a moment of recognition from other people. Your BIG MOMENT is not even a dream come true.

In reality, we ALL need to realize that the BIG MOMENT has already happened.

In Colossians, Paul, an apsotle of Christ speaks of this BIG MOMENT.

21 You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. 22 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” (Colossians 1:21-22).

“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross” (Colossians 2:13-14).

Once you and I made a decision to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, once we believed the gospel, the good news that God saved our souls from everlasting damnation, separation from life itself; a miracle took place.

You and I are now considered blameless and adopted into The Family of God.

We are now children of God.

This decision is your BIG MOMENT–it is the very moment that changed the trajectory of your life–forever.

The moment you and I were saved was the BIG MOMENT!

We have received knowledge and wisdom beyond our hearts capability. We have now been translated from darkness into light.

No more enemies to God. Neither are we separated from Him.

I’m no longer under the control of darkness.

Depression

And fear,

And lies of my unworthiness

Is no more.

Now, I have The Hope. Jesus. Not only hope for a better tomorrow but hope for new life to come.
I now have revelation. Truth bearing in my very soul.

You know, I hated everyone. Myself included. But now I have The Love of God burning inside my heart. My heart of stone has now been made soft in His Hands.

I love. Him and others fiercely. Though the fire of that love is tested frequently, He loves me and the knowledge of this helps me return everyday to this blessed assurance.

I am a daughter of the King. I know that now. I can walk in faith knowing the truth of this royalty.

Dear friends, your BIG MOMENT happened the day you gave your life to Christ.
This event radically changed the trajectory of your life.
Forever. You will never be the same again. You are now apart of a family of sons and daughters, royalty, free, and full of life–spreading the Good News of A Savior Who Frees captives bound to sin, lust, arrogance, pride and fear into a new existence. Who loves the sinner back to repentance. Who washes away their sin with His own Blood–who is this God we serve? How could we forget the complete glory of THAT MOMENT. When guilt and shame can no longer stand in the presence of a Merciful Savior and Mighty God…

The best part…

That if we continue to stand in this truth of our risen King, you will understand this secret:

“Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory” (Colossians 1:27).
Again, nothing, no book deal, business offer, or the fulfillment of any other desire will ever compare to it.

So, “don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. 9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority” (Colossians 2:8-10).

You are fulfilled in Jesus. No need for the accolades and shine from the world. You shine anyway.
Even as I say this, many may turn to roll their eyes. Or scoff saying:

Yeah.

Sure.

What a miraculous event...and yet I’m still walking through the toughest time of my life.

I’m still at this dead end job…

I’ve been faithful to God and I still have not begun to live my dreams….

Yeah.

I’m saved. But it sure doesn’t feel it.

This life we were born in has now become a battlefield that we must conquer everyday.

And you and I can do that. If we stand faithful, our lives shine bright against the darkness and spread The Kingdom of The God. And though these times seem to last forever, they do not define you. You are still created for a purpose. (Continue to stand tall, and trust in God.)

People may not know who you are, but remember God does.

However, even in the struggle–

The day we were born,

The very first day of school (no matter the age)

Becoming a mother or father,

The first time you fall in love…for real.

The day your loved one dies.

All of these smaller moments are important. All of them are beautiful testaments of life and gifts, or opportunities for us to grow. However, without salvation-the wonder of birth, love, new beginnings, and yes, even death–lose it’s significance.

The BIG MOMENT that can not be compared to anything else is the day you enter the family of God.

We have become so selfish, so preoccupied with the things the rest of the world loves and takes pride in; we forget the wonder, the grandeur, the glory of being chosen, set apart for the purposes of The Kingdom of God. To serve, and honor The One who loves us and shed His Blood for us.

The truth is we have lost the joy we once had when we first got saved.

May our prayer be in this new year: “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” Psalm 51:12

Father,

Forgive us for forgetting our worth. How we’re more than a BIG MOMENT to you and that our lives are valuable with or without recognition of the world. I pray our hearts desire change to what You desire. I pray our hearts would be sensitive, warmed, transformed into the image of Christ.

That we would remember the truth–that we have been reconciled to you because of Jesus. That His Spirit now lives inside us and we are made new in Him. I pray we would refuse to believe the lies of the satan and instead stand in the truth: that our lives were paid with a price, Jesus Christ Blood and we are saved. Let us never settle for the common things of the world to attain success. Instead may we use what you have given us to give you glory.

I pray our love grows more every day and we would be satisfied in Your salvation, and that we would have joy in The Lord for your favor and mercy toward us.

In Your Name I pray,

Amen.

     Prayer of salvation:

Dear Jesus,

I believe that you died in my place on the cross, and have risen again so I can now have a new life in you. I have sinned against you–I ask you to forgive me, wash me clean. I turn away from my old life.

I ask you to help me remain satisfied in you. All the way though this journey of faith, no matter what. Thank you Lord for everything.

In Jesus Name I pray, amen.

If it was your first time praying this, congratulations! YOUR BIG MOMENT is here! Jesus says in Luke 15:10 that “there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”

That’s right. They rejoice over your heart being turned toward God! What an amazing thing! I want you to contact me if this was your first time praying this or you have rededicated your life to God. Unspeakable Gift

This post uploaded a bit late…but is never late to say:

“Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15 The gift that no words can contain the glory, beauty and mercy of it all. Yet, we speak one word and that it remains and we know, even if we can’t articulate it Who He is: JESUS. The name where there will never be enough thanks or praise. The gift that keeps on giving. JESUS. Thank you Lord for Him. Without Him there is no life. I would not be saved. I would not be rescued from the very life that would have destroyed me. Thank you God for Him! The Unspeakable, Undeniably Endlessly Beautiful Gift. God bless you all,

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
